A washout booth is essential in maintaining an efficient screen printing preparation & reclaiming room. The proper disposal of ink, chemicals, and emulsion by-products is critical. Waste solids have the potential to ruin plumbing, septic systems -- or both, not to mention the effects they can have on the enviroment.

Although many of our products are drain safe, it is always in the interest of the environment to do what you can. A filtration system can help to reduce that amount of solids that are sent down the drain and out to the treatment facilities. '

Not only does this reduce the amount of solids and chemicals physically in the drain lines but helps the treatment facilities filter the gray water more efficiently. The system uses chemical reactants to filter contaminants from the waste water. 

It is even more important to filter if you are on a septic system or used to dumping your waste outside. These two waste systems just allow the chemicals and solids to eventually leach down into the water table.
